In collaboration with Roots of Faith, an organization that is dedicated to alleviating poverty and improving the quality of life for the people of Sharpsburg, PA and nearby communities, I coordinated a Valentine’s Day party for the children of Sharpsburg. Most of the events are focused on the adults but I saw an opportunity to extend that same focus to the children of the community.

This event was the bridge to building a relationship with Roots of Faith which ultimately led me to becoming the Program Director of Sharpsburg Rocks.
